Dunhill: County (3257) (2019)
Product Number: 002-015-4924
Compact and sturdy, this pocket-friendly bent Dublin from Dunhill is rendered in Group 3 size with the round, low-lying bowl able to sit stably thanks to the extended heel's paneled base. Paired to an abbreviated shank and a elongated, gently downturned stem, it's dressed in the earthy, rustic sandblast of the County finish, highlighting the briar's handsome, natural grain patterns. The rim has been left smooth, complementing the stummel's coloration and boasting lovely swathes of birdseye.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.-Angela Robertson
