Dunhill: County (5133) (2017) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-5147
Dunhill's "33" shape is not one we see often, a bit of a mix between a Volcano and a bent Brandy, depending on the specific pipe, and this rendition displays strong Volcano tendencies with straight downward-sloping sides and a clearly defined base. In the English marque's larger Group 5 size, it offers a substantial in-hand feel and features the rustic sandblast and cumberland stem of the County line.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.- Joel Balyeat
