Dunhill: County (3110) (2016)

Product Number: 002-015-5187

Dunhill's "10" shape varies between a bit of Billiard or a Lumberman, in this case hewing much closer to the latter with an abbreviated taper of cumberland stem out back. Dressed here in the pastoral County finish, it presents well in Group 3 size, for a well balanced pipe that is ready to become a loyal companion. The grain pops quite a but as well, with cross grain accentuated by the rugged finish.

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
