Dunhill: Chestnut with Horn (3103) (2017) Tobacco Pipe

Dunhill's timeless "03" Billiard is given a whimsical flourish in this Group 3 rendering. The bowl maintains classic English shaping with an almost indiscernible cant and is paired to a much-abbreviated shank. A horn army mount then, extends the shank and is affixed to a versatile, flexible, curved mouthpiece. It can be turned left, right, upside down for all kinds of different configurations for quite the striking profile. Smoothly stained, this playful piece is dressed in the refined Chestnut finish.

A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
