Dunhill: SPC Two Pipe Set 2021 Cumberland/Chestnut (1/15) (with Ventage Case) Tobacco Pipe

In 2020 Dunhill made special, limited-edition 2-pipe sets to honor the 20th Anniversary of Smokingpipes, and we've continued the collaboration with a new series of just 31 sets for 2021. Every set comprises a smooth finished "3201" straight Apple and a sandblasted "3102" bent Billiard, each wearing one of the venerated English marque's iconic finishes, elevated by a handsome band of knurled silver and completed by a Ventage case. Patented by Alfred Dunhill in 1920, these special clam-shell cases allow excellent portability, as they store both pipes securely and include a special venting system to allow the pipes to cool and dry when closed.

Fifteen of the sets feature a combination of Cumberland and Chestnut finishes, and this handsome pair is serialized as number one in that series. The straight Apple displays excellent under a smooth finish, and the bent Billiard is dressed in a stimulating sandblast. The silver bands provide an elegant visual break at the shank end, while sleek, hand-cut cumberland stems offer a perfect visual and physical balance and a unified aesthetic.
