Sleek and streamlined, this "07" Prince from Dunhill is fitted to a straight, tapered stem, rather than the oft-seen lithely bent mouthpiece one normally associates with the design. This svelte, Group 3 rendition maintains the elegance of the traditional form, however, with the squat, Brandy-like bowl displaying a plump, flattened base. It's seen here wearing the marque's genteel and rustic County finish.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
