Dunhill: Cumberland (5104) (2019) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-5847
The military mount construction of this "04" Bulldog from Dunhill both allows for easy and durable disassembly, as well as accentuates the stummel's firm, architectural style and forward cant. The majority of the shank is comprised of the mount itself, the hue matching handsomely with that of the briar, and the bowl, while of robust Group 5 size, shows a minimal taper, wrapped with the shape's traditional beadlines.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
