Dunhill: Chestnut (1110) (2021) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-5856
Presented in Group 1 size, this "10" Liverpool from Dunhill boasts a petite, slender build and a compact overall length, measuring just a touch over five inches from end to end. It's an incredibly lightweight design, with a pert Billiard bowl paired to a svelte, protracted round shank and an abbreviated tapered stem. It's handsomely presented in the smoky, shadowy hues of the Chestnut smooth finish, which accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar and harmonizes quite well in color with the cumberland mouthpiece.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
