Dunhill: Bruyere (2110) (2020) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-015-5924

An uncommon but handsome pairing of shape and size, this Dunhill "10" Liverpool is rendered in the more svelte dimensions of the Group 2 size. Lightweight and sleek in profile, the upright Billiard-style bowl is paired to the rounded shank and tapered stem comprising the classic, English form. Said shank lies quite low on the bowl, accentuating its presence a good bit, and, despite it's straight orientation, its compact dimensions and light weight speak to plenty of potential for clenching. Lithe and seamless, it offers plenty of elegant appeal and is dressed in the timeless Bruyere finish.

The Bruyere was Alfred Dunhill's original finish upon launching his brand of premium pipes and smoking accessories and was the only Dunhill finish from 1910 until 1917. Even after the addition of other finishes, the Bruyere maintained a high level of popularity, becoming synonymous with what is thought of, even today, as the quintessential pipe. To achieve the iconic, ruby hue and saturation, a skilled craftsman painstakingly layers particular stains in a precise manner, then meticulously polishes the pipe to a high luster. The final result is, simply put, timeless.
