Dunhill: Chestnut with Silver (5102) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6152
This "02" bent Billiard is a design that has survived since the 1930s, and it's easy to see why it's retained such popularity over the years. Long of stem, with a gentle, swooping S-curve, yet with a firm heel and stately bowl, it's a piece that exudes elegance and poise. As if on cue, Dunhill has crowned this one with a dashing, striated silver band and paired its deep, dark Chestnut stain with an ever handsome cumberland stem.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
