Dunhill: Root Briar (3105) (2014) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-015-6161

Seen here in Group 3 proportions, this Dunhill "05" Dublin is a traditional, straightforward take on the pipe chart standard. This undeniably classic rendition features a poised bowl that immediately catches the attention of anyone who lays eyes on it, and rightfully so, as the supple flare to its walls and the sleek nature of the shank and tapered stem places it at the forefront of attention. Here we find it dressed in one of the marque's most prestigious finishes: the Root Briar, a series who's light stain highlights a handsome mix of windswept cross grain across the flanks, with birdseye through the fore, underside, and rim.

The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. Dunhill has the strictest of standards and expectations for quality with all of their pipes, and so any block of briar that comes to bear the Root Briar stamp must indeed be superlative.
