Dunhill: County with Silver (3210) (2021) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6232
Depending on its stem style, Dunhill's long-shanked "10" Billiard can either represent Liverpool or Bing's favorite Billiard renditions. The latter is offered here, pairing the stummel with a lengthy saddle stem for a considerably sleek profile; were it an abbreviated tapered stem, though, the archetypal Liverpool would be well represented. In Group 3 size, this Bing's example is a choice find for those who enjoy the sleek shape — not to mention that the sterling silver accent which further elevates this example. The crisp, earthy sandblast and cumberland stem of the County series dresses this pipe, offering a rugged, pastoral look that's quite charming.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
