Dunhill: County Calabash with Silver Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6339
The earthy sandblast and cumberland stem of the County finish are featured here on a deeply bent Calabash whose form defines the term "S-curve." Curling of transition and softly flared of bowl, this is a generous jaw-hanger of about Group 5 or 6 bowl size and chamber capacity. It poses an inherently striking silhouette and is made all the more eye-catching by the flashy addition of sterling silver, complemented by a polished ring of lightly-stained briar just below.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
