Dunhill: Chestnut (2113) (2019) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6358
This "13" bent Apple from Dunhill is presented in lithe Group 2 size, making for a surprisingly pocket-friendly piece from the storied English marque. However, the small size does nothing to hide the pipe's beauty, which Dunhill has dressed in their popular Chestnut finish and fitted with a handsome cumberland stem. That nimble vulcanite stem turns downward and flares to a broad fishtail to promote comfortable smoking sessions.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
