Dunhill: Chestnut (3107) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6362
Sleek and streamlined, this "07" Prince from Dunhill is fitted to a straight, tapered stem, rather than the oft-seen lithely bent mouthpiece one normally associates with the design. This svelte, Group 3 rendition maintains the elegance of the traditional form, however, with the squat, Brandy-like bowl displaying a plump, flattened base. It's seen here wearing the marque's handsome Chestnut finish.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.--Davin Hylton
