Dunhill: County (2103) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6497
In petite Group 2 size, this "03" straight Billiard from Dunhill features a demure bowl sitting stoically at the front of an abbreviated shank, military mount, and a push-style stem. It's a unique rendition of the shape, boasting the ability to be easily broken down even while hot and striking a sleek, streamlined profile that captures the eye. The stummel wears the vibrant hues of the County finish, accentuating the natural grain orientation of the briar and providing plenty of stimulating texture to delight the fingers, all while paired to a cumberland stem for a cohesive look.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.--Davin Hylton
