Dunhill: County (4127) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6517
Dunhill's "27" is the iconic British marque's take on the Pear shape. More fluid and soft-lined than many of the brand's other pieces, this one displays gentle curves and a subtle gesture through the stem, shank, and heel — not unlike the forward-urging momentum of the classic Zulu. The oval shank does well to further the design's sleek profile, and it flares gently into the bowl for a genteel transition. Seen here in a ruddy stain and cumberland stem of the County series.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
