Made in homage to the legacy of Mary Dunhill, daughter of Alfred Dunhill and longtime chair of the Dunhill Group, this eponymous two pipe set is composed a bent Rhodesian and straight Dublin, both rendered in sleek, demure proportions to recall the Ladies Pipes found in Dunhill's catalogs of years past. The Rhodesian is dressed in the English marque's timeless Bruyere finish, while the bent Dublin is dressed in Dunhill's classic Shell Briar sandblast. Limited to 45 sets worldwide, each Mary Dunhill offering is presented in a custom-made Ventage case.

The Bruyere was Alfred Dunhill's original finish upon launching his brand of premium pipes and smoking accessories and was the only Dunhill finish from 1910 until 1917. Even after the addition of other finishes, the Bruyere maintained a high level of popularity, becoming synonymous with what is thought of, even today, as the quintessential pipe. To achieve the iconic, ruby hue and saturation, a skilled craftsman painstakingly layers particular stains in a precise manner, then meticulously polishes the pipe to a high luster. The final result is, simply put, timeless.

The Shell Briar's addition to the Dunhill catalog was a pivotal moment in pipe-smoking history. Before 1917, pipes with sandblasted finishes had never been made, and Alfred Dunhill's innovative mind created arguably the most popular finish for pipes today when he unveiled the Shell Briar.
