Dunhill: Shell Briar White Spot Bent Billiard with Silver (120) (F/T) (3169) (2021) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-015-6667

A vintage-style offering from Dunhill, this "120" bent Billiard is part of The White Spot line, which resurrects shapes from Dunhill's past. The shank-and-stem arrangement is significantly bent and ends at a fishtail bit, denoted by the old-school "F/T" stamp. Presented here in Group 5 size, the hearty bowl surrounds a spacious chamber sure to keep any smoker occupied for a long time. The traditional pipe is dressed in a fitting finish, Dunhill's Shell Briar; additionally, a wide silver band engraved with "The White Spot" adorns the shank.

The Shell Briar's addition to the Dunhill catalog was a pivotal moment in pipe-smoking history. Before 1917, pipes with sandblasted finishes had never been made, and Alfred Dunhill's innovative mind created arguably the most popular finish for pipes today when he unveiled the Shell Briar. With its dark, reserved color palette and delightful texture, it's no surprise that it's still wildly popular over a century later.
