Dunhill: Bruyere with Silver (5226) (2021) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-6779
A robust Group 5 rendition of Dunhill's iconic "26" Hungarian shape, also known as an Oom Paul, this is a versatile piece, perfect for clenching with the added utility of a Sitter. The generous chamber capacity and thick-walled bowl also guarantee a long, cool smoke. Dressed in Dunhill's classic Bruyere finish, the rich brown stain creates an elegant and timeless aesthetic, accented by a bright silver band.
The Bruyere was Alfred Dunhill's original finish upon launching his brand of premium pipes and smoking accessories and was the only Dunhill finish from 1910 until 1917. Even after the addition of other finishes, the Bruyere maintained a high level of popularity, becoming synonymous with what is thought of, even today, as the quintessential pipe. To achieve the iconic, ruby hue and saturation, a skilled craftsman painstakingly layers particular stains in a precise manner, then meticulously polishes the pipe to a high luster. The final result is, simply put, timeless.-Gabriel Bass
