Dunhill: County (4103) (2022) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-015-6810

Though stamped "03", this piece from Dunhill bears little resemblance to the English marque's Billiard shape. Instead, the "03" indicates the White Spot's Cavalier design. As a shape, the Cavalier pairs a pronounced bowl to a scaffolding of shank and stem, resulting in a unique appearance that's unlike anything else in the pipe world. Like a usual Cavalier, this piece boasts a removable cap at the base of the shank, a design cue that allows excess moisture to be drained from the airway. Dressed in the striking County sandblast, the Group 4-sized bowl boasts a wealth of handsome grain.

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
