Dunhill: County (4612) (2021) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-7163
Dunhill's "12" Stack is an older design from the English marque, beginning its life as the basis for one of the "windshield" pipe designs that Alfred Dunhill marketed to automobile drivers. This particular Group 4 offering features a tall, slender bowl — iconic for the shape — paired to a long stretch of Churchwarden stem, creating a lean, elegant profile. The gorgeous County finish dresses the stummel and highlights striking grain across the briar's surface. It's a protracted and refined piece, and it should make an ideal reading pipe.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
