Dunhill: Battersea Power Station Cumberland (4112) (24/30) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-7247
Dunhill's Battersea Power Station series is a limited-edition release celebrating the history of its namesake. One of the world's largest brick buildings, Battersea at one point supplied a fifth of London's electricity, before it was decommissioned in 1975. The coal plant's famed Art Deco architecture and four white chimneys made the Battersea an iconic landmark in London. The plant has since been transformed into a residential and business neighborhood, but its striking visage continues to spellbind Londoners.
In honor of the Battersea, Dunhill presents a lively rendition of the "12" Chimney shape. In Group 4 size, this Chimney boasts a tall, proud bowl that stands at the fore of a sleek, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. Said arrangement is joined via a cumberland army mount that's designed to resemble the look of vintage high-voltage insulator. In keeping with the theme, this muscular Chimney comes included with a insulator tamper that matches the aforementioned mount. Like the majority of Dunhill limited-edition releases, all of Dunhill's Battersea pipes are presented in a leather-bound book. Serialized out of 30, this particular Cumberland rendition is numbered "24."
