Dunhill: Cumberland (5102) (2016) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-7364
Dunhill's "02" bent Billiard is considered by many to be the archetypal rendition of the form, which makes sense when considering that the shape has been around since the 1930s. It's a shape that's hard not to love, as its sturdy, poised bowl, solid heel, and sweeping S-curve all make for an extremely attractive and affable profile. This particular rendition offers the classic shape in a military mount configuration, enabling the composition to be easily broken down. It's dressed in the rustic County sandblast and topped by a tapered cumberland mouthpiece for further visual appeal.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
