Dunhill: Chestnut (4203) (2022) Tobacco Pipe

Many consider Dunhill's thoroughly traditional "03" to be the archetypal straight Billiard from which all others are adapted. This Group 4 rendition pairs the poised, full-bodied bowl with a sleek and elegantly rendered cumberland saddle stem, one that's hand-cut for supreme comfort. This combination of group size and shape is somewhat uncommon, and its proportions here are excellent without any one element being exaggerated or oversized. Its refinement is further accentuated by the deep, ruddy hues of the Chestnut finish, the dark, glossy stain revealing some handsome grain and offering a classic, timeless look that's sure to stay stylish for decades to come.

A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
