Dunhill: County with Silver (4104) (2018) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-015-7588

On the leaner, more classically oriented end of Dunhill's shaping spectrum (even in Group 4 size), the English marque's "04" straight Bulldog is crisp of line and tightly-knit, boasting a pronounced forward-cant in profile, lending it a strongly traditional disposition. The County's earthy sandblast does an excellent job here of lending the piece a fine texture, both visually and in hand, but without compromising the shape's clean lines. Furthermore, this piece boasts a sterling silver band, which adds a touch of flash to the pipe's otherwise reserved palette.

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
