Dunhill: County Calabash with Silver (6) (2023) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-015-7624

Although Dunhill typically sticks to their century-old shape chart, they also craft pipes that break the mold, usually to great success. This Calabash by Dunhill is presented in Group 6 size, which gives the substantial S-curve from heel to bit some serious length. A broad silver band divides the cumberland stem from the sandblasted stummel, which emphasizes the size of the stem over that of the bowl.

Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
