Dunhill: Chestnut (2106) (2018) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-7656
Second only to Dunhill's Group 1 size designation, Group 2 is the English marque's smallest and one of the rarest compared to other sizes. Such petite size turns this "06" Pot into quite the lightweight design, ideal for hands-free smoking and convenient travel. Furthering that lightweight appeal is an extra-slender shank-and-stem combination, accentuating the bowl's mass despite its smaller size. This is a pipe that's perfect for short and sweet smoking sessions, made all the more attractive by the rich, smooth finish of the Chestnut series.
A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
