Dunhill: Chestnut (5101) (2021) Tobacco Pipe

Dunhill's "01" Apple can vary in its degree of plumpness, some being considerably voluptuous, while others are more reserved and slender. This Group 5 rendition is of the former variety, presenting a curvaceous form reminiscent of the Brandy with its full base and tall, upward taper. It all combines for a exceptional ergonomic comfort, and the added height creates plenty of chamber depth.

A sibling to the Cumberland, Dunhill's Chestnut finish was inaugurated in 1983 to commemorate the closing of the Cumberland Rd. warehouse for which the Cumberland finish was named. Like the Cumberland, pipes in the Chestnut line wear the same dark, smoky stain and are fitted to stems of cumberland but feature a silky smooth, glossy finish compared to the Cumberland's rugged sandblast.
