Dunhill: County (4103) (2014) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-015-8049
Widely considered by many to be the archetypal Billiard, Dunhill's "03" is a timeless shape marked by sturdy craftsmanship, well-balanced proportions, and an understated elegance. This particular rendition is presented in handy Group 4 size, and features an upright bowl that's poised at the fore of a slender, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. The overall form is lightweight and streamlined, and it's handsomely presented in the rustic County sandblast.
Like the Cumberland finish, Dunhill's County line pairs rich, cumberland stems with delightfully textured sandblasts. Typically, County pieces wear a lighter stain, often falling between the Cumberland and Tanshell hues, and since its introduction in 1986, with only a brief hiatus, the County remains stalwart within Dunhill's portfolio, especially desired by lovers of brindled vulcanite and warm sandblasts.
