Here, it's taken to another level in the Eltang Basic series, with briar stummels in their usual cylindrical, slightly-canted form paired to nearly indestructible carbon fiber shanks, which are permanently fixed to the bowl for easy cleaning. This example is finished in one of Tom's signature rustications, with a natural finish that will allow the briar to patinate with time and use.
