Tom Eltang: Smooth Knife Pipe with Stand and Tamper (Snail) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-299-0479

Master craftsman, artisan, eccentric. In no particular order, these are all easily terms that could describe the affable (there's another one) Tom Eltang who, taking a playful concept, has furnished us with one seriously crafted pipe. With boxwood at the mount/guard and rim, and a vulcanite stem fashioned in the likeness of a serrated hunting blade, Tom has chosen some very select briar for the Horn-like bowl itself, with a good mix of cross-cut and birdseye grain, and stained in a high contrast auburn, it's truly worthy of Tom's Snail grading.

Also included are a dagger-like tamper — fashioned from briar, vulcanite and horn — and a stand, itself made from plateau briar.
