Tom Eltang: Smooth Bent Dublin with Brass and Horn Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-299-0502
The most conservative briar, shape-wise, in this batch of Tom Eltang briars, this bent Dublin follows a fairly straightforward Danish neo-classical aesthetic — shaping the bowl to carry the majority of the visual weight, yet balancing the composition with quick, sweeping lines across the transition and upward-flicking shank. The result is a silhouette with a strong forward momentum in profile, at once both powerful and elegant in its sinuous grace. Fitting to that elegance, Tom's finished the piece in a vibrant contrast, highlighting a spectacular flame and straight grain pattern throughout the entire stummel — accented tastefully by twin bands of brass and a modest wafer of horn in between.
