Beginning with the birth of Erik Peter in 1855, the Stokkebye tobacco tradition has been carried on by the family, currently by the founder's great-grandson, Erik Stokkebye, via a series of unique tobaccos reflective of their personal tastes. In furtherance of that commemoration, Erik Stokkebye's 4th Generation pipes feature a selection of four shapes, each corresponding to the birth year of Stokkebye's forebears.
