Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation: Pipe of the Year 2018 Smooth (19/50) (Kikuchi) (By Tsuge)

Product Number: 002-787-0334

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation's Pipe of the Year is a unique offering, as the company partners with some of the finest names in pipe making to present these limited-edition pieces. For 2018, that name was Tsuge Ikebana's Asami Kikuchi, an incredibly gifted artisan carver who often combines the minimalism of Japanese pipe making with the soft lines and gentle curves of the Danish approach. This bent Egg leans more toward the Danish style, its flaring boxwood ferrule and warm contrast stain pairing perfectly with the plump, soft-lined form, resulting in a piece that is delightfully smooth in hand. Only 50 pieces were made for the commemorative line, with this particular offering serialized as number 19.
