Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation: Pipe of the Year 2018 Smooth (6/50) (Kikuchi) (By Tsuge)
Product Number: 002-787-0336
For their limited-edition Pipe of the Year series, Erik Stokkebye's 4th Generation partners with artisan pipe makers to deliver exclusive, one-of-a-kind designs. For 2018, this bent Egg was designed by Japanese artisan Asami Kikuchi, who notably works for the esteemed Tsuge Ikebana workshop. This design displays a lovely, ergonomic form imbued with the soft lines and supple curves so characteristic of the Danish school. It's tastefully dressed in a warm, walnut stain that highlights the briar's grain and is accented with a pale, contrasting ferrule of boxwood. Only 50 pieces were made for the commemorative line, with this particular offering serialized as number 6.-Truett Smith
