Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation: Pipe of the Year 2018 Sandblasted (41/50) (Kikuchi) (By Tsuge)

Product Number: 002-787-0338

Designed by Asami Kikuchi, one of the artisan carvers at Tsuge Ikebana, this bent Egg was Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation's Pipe of the Year for 2018. A limited-edition series, only 50 pipes were made, each one stamped with an individual number with this one serialized as number 41. The shape itself is classically Danish, featuring a tall, gently rounded bowl, slightly forward of cant with the shank and stem following trimly out back to lend the bowl an especially poised orientation. It feels wonderful in hand and boasts a subtle sandblast and dark stain, contrasted by the smooth-polished rim and the pale boxwood mount adorning the shank end.
