The pipe tobacco honors the birthdate of Erik's father, Erik Peter, the third generation of the Stokkebye family's long standing tobacco tradition, and as a pipe shape, it's a dynamic rendition designed by Peder Jeppesen of Neerup pipes. As such, it beautifully reflects Peder's signature interpretation of classic Danish pipe design, the lines of this piece soft and supple as the transition gently eases into the bowl's curvature. In line with Neerup's typical aesthetic, the bowl is more muscular compared to the slender shank and stem, and it's founded on a firm heel, making for a hearty, natural presence in hand while the profile prioritizes elegant fluidity and poise.

Appropriately named, the Brown Ale finish dresses Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation pipes in a low-depth sandblast and a stain of smoldering reddish-brown hues not unlike the deep, amber color of that traditional style of beer.
