Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation: Forza Fiano (1897) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-787-1774
This muscular, broad-bowled bent Pot from 4th Generation corresponds to Erik Stokkebye's 1897 blend, which honors the birthdate of Erik Stokkebye's grandfather, Erik Paul, the second generation of the Stokkebye family's long-standing tobacco tradition. As a pipe, the "1897" was designed for Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation by the Ascortis of Caminetto, and it's a design that beautifully reflects Peder's recognizable shaping aesthetic: The bowl is thick-walled and full-bodied, contrasted by the comparatively slender shank-and-stem combination's elegant curvature. Such shaping combines for a pipe that fits substantially in hand, with a wide presence for wrapped fingers.
The Forza series presents Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation's most recognizable pipes in three distinctive finishes: the Nebbiolo, the Fiano, and the Grappa. The Nebbiolo consists of an auburn sandblast; the Fiano, a honey-auburn smooth finish; and the Grappa, a dark, craggy rustication. Regardless of finish, each pipe in the Forza series is united by a flashy metallic accent that livens any composition it adorns. This particular pipe wears the gorgeous Fiano smooth finish.
