Alex Florov: Smooth Rhodesian with Masur Birch

While most high-end smooth briars focus upon presenting flame-grain, for this Alex Florov it's the fiery birdseye and three-quarter grain that steals the show. Sure, flame grain is displayed where it fits into the composition, but with this Rhodesian design's low, sweeping, broad shaping (including an organic, Ivarsson-inspired teardrop shank), it's definitely the upper and lower surfaces, rather than the flanks, that we're supposed to be taking in as the centerpiece.
