Former: Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Plateau

Product Number: 002-017-0183

This sort of long-flow, sinuous, highly gestural bent Dublin may just be one of the best shapes for showing off a fine ring grain. Aside from the tall, trim bowl allowing for plenty of vertical canvas, the sweeping flow of the shape makes things far more interesting, and better fits with the organic nature of a sandblasted grain patter, especially when compared to other, similarly lofty designs, like say the classic Stack. I don't know what else to say here, but that Former nailed it; the rings ascend the bowl in a tight and consistently fine pattern and flow nicely down into the arch of the transition, the chamber is deep, the shape is easy in hand, and the long, gently bent, slender saddle stem balances out the overall form and gesture just perfectly.
