Treading the line between streamlined and traditional, this Former Long Shank Dublin certainly places the emphasis up front, with a soft-rimmed, forward-canted bowl housing some serious depth of chamber. Former went one further to accentuate the soft lines of the bowl as well, by rendering the shank with crisp-lined, hexagonal paneling, leading the eye to the compact saddle bit, visually divided from the composition at large by a generous sterling silver band. Former's aesthetic typically makes use of minimal accents, so to find one wearing a silver band is quite a discovery indeed. A warm contrast stain highlights undeniably lively flame grain all around, coupled with birdseye at the rim and underside.
