The son of beloved American artisan Mark Tinsky, Glenn Tinsky continues his family's pipe-making tradition, incorporating the influence of his father's style with a touch of Danish cues to create his own unique aesthetic. Before becoming a full-time pipe maker, Glenn had a long career in the restaurant industry, where he developed a discerning stylistic sensibility that he's applied to pipe carving with impressive results. This sleek bent Billiard displays a winning combination of English proportions and Danish fluidity. The tall, slim bowl rests on a subtle heel at the fore of a slim round shank that curls upward into an acrylic tapered stem, creating a sinuous outline with plenty of chamber capacity. Dressed in a warm natural sandblast, the stummel boasts excellent ring grain all around the bowl, offering a wealth of visual and tactile appeal.
