Only the second rendition we've received from Peter Heding of this quieter, softer take on the Sphinx, this conceptualized example of the shape is undoubtedly superb. It presents an even more subtle, plump bowl, along with less sharpness of a hood-like aft and accompanying ridge, though this feature does highlight the pronounced degree of forward cant. The muscular shank sports a slight touch of flare, doing well to balance the aforementioned plump bowl, all visually brought together by birdseye to each flank, along with a neat lane of cross-grain right down the center.
