Though not as acutely organic as his Mushroom sitter shape, this partially rusticated number could be seen as just as deftly minimalist, with a pronounced degree of softened, Danish modern shaping cues. It's something of a reduced interpretation of the Calabash, with subtle touches of Acorn in the mix as well, housing a deep chamber, the rim of which is crowned with a ring of contrast-stained birdseye, offering a pleasant pairing to the foot's treatment of the same, and a fine complement to the elegant boxwood accent at the mortise.
