IMP Meerschaum: Rusticated Bent Apple Churchwarden with Silver (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Rustications on meerschaum pipes may not be uncommon necessarily, though to me they are still distinctive, interesting, and eye catching finishes that bring to mind these pipes' more organic briar cousin. This particular example is a bent Apple from AKB Meerschaum, stretched to Churchwarden size and dressed in a texturally invigorating rustication that emphasizes the curves with which the stummel is imbued and contrasts the smooth rim and stem. The shaping is classic and handsome, and the silver band about the shank end pleasingly highlights the black acrylic stem and pure white stummel. Presented without stain, this pipe is sure to patinate beautifully as it is smoked, patterning the textured stummel with unique and personal flavor.
