IMP Meerschaum: Smooth Bent Dublin Sitter (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

The bent Dublin is one of the most ubiquitous pipe shapes in the industry, with renditions from nearly every maker in nearly every country. What is seen less often, however, are freehand interpretations from Turkish meerschaum artisans like IMP, who have presented us with a thoroughly stylized imagining of the classic shape. The shaping on display here is impressive to say the least, with the primary focus, in my opinion, being placed on the myriad pronounced ridgelines that swoop and curve along the stummel, creating a multi-faceted paneling effect that adds intense tactile intrigue, as well as a place for the thumb to rest on the topside. This pipe is undoubtedly an alluring piece, sure to garner attention as a choice piece in any collection or as an excellent smoker.
