Because meerschaum is a softer material than briar, it lends itself well to being carved more intricately. That said, such ostentation isn't for everyone, and thankfully, the IMP workshop also fashions staple shapes like this classic bent Billiard. Still carved from meerschaum, this pipe will darken handsomely as it's smoked, and it's accented with sterling silver and dressed in a rugged rustication that calls to mind the type of finish common on briar pipes.
