A sinuous rendition of the bent Dublin shape, this piece from IMP Meerschaum possesses a tall, broad bowl that tapers gradually from the flared, softly inflated rim to the sweeping heel. A wrapping beadline at the top of the bowl provides subtle definition to the crisp whiteness of the stummel, while the shank-and-stem arrangement curls in a fluid S-curve that promotes a comfortable smoking posture. A saddle stem of shimmering blue acrylic tops off the design, its vibrant color adding a dose of flash to the otherwise reserved palette of the design. With time and use, this piece will accrue patina, taking on tans, browns, and even pinks for plenty of bespoke character.
