This is quite a fluid Cutty shape from IMP Meerschaum, pairing a demurely arced, expansion ring-fitted stem to a tightly transitioning shank. The bowl features a lovely sweeping curvature on the underside that is broken only by a beadline at the middle of the shank, which marks the separation of the rusticated majority of the stummel and the smooth shank end. A charming plumpness makes the bowl lovely to hold, fitting in the hand wonderfully and with plenty of room at the transition to drape a thumb. The aforementioned rustication dressing the pale mineral is commended by patches of small black staining which dot its surface sporadically, giving it a striking, unique look that matches well with the black stem and is sure to make it a part of your normal rotation.
